My name is (Chuy) Jose Jesus Macias and I was born and raised in National City where I graduated from Sweetwater High School. I attend SDSU then transferred to SJSU for three years and eventually finished up my B.S. in Biology at SDSU. Shortly after that I Lived in Los Angles where I taught Biology, Zoology, and A.P. Bio for just over three years in the LAUSD at L.A.C.E.S . I then attend CSU Long Beach to get my M.S. in Biology while gaining 3 year of experience teaching undergraduate Biology labs. Then I taught middle school in Santa Ana where I started to use technology as an instructional and classroom management tool. I then was lucky enough to land at Montgomery Middle School in the Sweetwater Union High School District where I have been able to improve my teaching with tech in the science classroom for just under four years. I try to integrate tech in to every hands on science lab, project or presentation. I am very fortunate to be back in the districted from which I graduated helping students achieve their dreams with an understanding of the challenges many of them face.
